⛔Objections
Objection: I have never needed to search / keep emails before.
Answer: That's great news, but its unlikely to last. With growing regulation, statistics now say that 75% of all businesses have been ordered to produce email as part of legal proceedings. If that happened to you how quickly could you comply, and would you be 100% confident you have found everything you need to find?
O: Our mailboxes are in the cloud and can be huge – we can just use them to retain emails.
A: Though cloud email providers often offer very large mailboxes, in fact that often creates more issues, users find it very difficult to manage large mailboxes. Emails are hard to find, and search is slow, this causes huge frustration for users and leads to more calls to the IT department. A mail system is designed to send and receive email – users should delete things they don’t need from their mailbox and use an archive to keep older data. This makes business more efficient and leads to fewer calls to IT support which save lots of money Additionally, we regularly see full primary and archive mailboxes on cloud platforms, so running out of space is a very real issue.
O: We have a solution and getting data out of an archive is difficult and expensive.
A: That has historically been the case, however we have a number of tools and techniques that mean the export of data is a lot less complex and expensive that it used to be. I would suggest we have an exploratory call to understand your current environment and see how we can help.
O: Our current solution is good enough.
A: Great to hear, how do you use it? Is it easy to manage? Is it cost effective? We can't win over every customer, but by showing an interest and putting those questions in the prospect's mind you lay the groundwork for a future sale and will sometimes prompt a re-evaluation of their position.
O: It's too expensive to get our data out of our existing archive.
A: Firstly, that's a problem that is never going to get better, the cost of export now will always be less than the cost of export later as your archive continues to grow. Secondly, we can offer migration services to get your data into the Archive at a fraction of the cost you'll have from your incumbent, and we're keen to work with you on a commercial agreement to enable you to move with minimal budgetary impact.
